Ö-Navi dismisses the worst-case guide persons
DSG seeds online clip on a mobile navigation system for Das Örtliche
The telephone and address book company Das Örtliche shows the sometimes terrible consequences following the anyay humiliating process of asking for the way with his new online clip Ö-Navi gas station attendant. The short film is part of a campaign called 'The Revolution of Navigation', and to communicate the launch of a new navigation system for mobile phones. Aim of the viral below-the-line activity is to raise awareness for the new product Ö-Navi within the target group.
To steer its viral effectively through the Internet, Das Örtliche chose the strategy and seeding expertise of DSG. Early November the clip gas station attendant started on previously analysed, high-frequented entertainment and sparetime platforms on the German-spoken Internet. By clicking on the film in the DSG Flash Player format, the viewer is being directed to the landingpage www.oe-navi.de, where among the two other clips, Taxifahrer (taxi driver) and Oma (old lady), the scene has been nicely set for all product details.
